We bring Ivy League rigor and real-world judgment to every matter — whether you're navigating a complex business transaction or a high-stakes dispute. When the outcome matters, experience matters.
Bertran Zincone was founded on a simple conviction: clients deserve attorneys who are not only exceptionally well-trained but who genuinely invest in understanding the full picture of what's at stake.
We are a boutique firm combining the intellectual depth of elite academic training with the accessibility and personal attention that larger firms rarely offer. Our clients come to us because they need a partner — not just a service provider.
From structuring a business deal to resolving a contentious dispute, we approach every matter with precision, candor, and an unwavering commitment to your interests.
Bring us any problem. If it falls within our wheelhouse, we'll handle it. If it doesn't, we'll connect you with the right person who will. Either way, you won't be on your own.
We focus our core expertise in two areas — but we've handled everything from fraud claims in federal court to government contract protests to personal injury trials. Whatever you're facing, bring it to us. If we can help, we will. If we can't, we'll find you someone who can.
We counsel entrepreneurs, founders, and established businesses through every stage of the company lifecycle — from entity formation and partnership agreements to complex commercial contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and governance matters. Our goal is to protect your business and position it for sustainable success.
We are trial lawyers and appellate advocates with experience across a wide range of courts and dispute forums — from Florida circuit courts and federal district courts to the Delaware Court of Chancery and AAA arbitration panels. We fight hard, but always with precision and purpose.
Every major corporation has a General Counsel — a trusted attorney who knows the business inside and out and is there for whatever comes up. We believe individuals and families deserve the same.
As your Family General Counsel, we are your first call for anything legal — a contract you need reviewed, a property you're buying, a dispute that landed in your lap, a ticket your kid got, a business deal you're considering. We handle what we can handle, and we find the right person when we can't. You focus on your life. We handle the rest.
Nearly 15 years of practice. Ivy League-trained. Courtrooms across the country. We have represented demanding clients in high-stakes matters where the margin for error is zero — the kind of experience that sharpens judgment, builds real instinct, and consistently produces results when it counts most.
We understand that calling a lawyer often means something important is at stake. We take that seriously — responding promptly, communicating clearly, and treating your matter as our priority.
At Bertran Zincone, you work directly with your attorney — not a rotating cast of associates. You get the experience and judgment of seasoned counsel, every time you call.
We are among the first law firms to fully integrate AI into our practice — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine force multiplier. The result: sharper analysis, faster turnaround, more thorough diligence, and costs that reflect a modern practice rather than a legacy billing model.
AI allows us to survey case law, regulatory frameworks, and precedent at a pace no traditional approach can match — so you get comprehensive answers quickly, without the billable hours that used to come with them.
By processing vastly more information before we advise you, we surface risks and opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed. Our counsel is informed by a broader view of the landscape than most firms can offer.
AI-assisted drafting, review, and research dramatically reduces the time required for routine legal work. We pass those savings on to you — giving you access to Ivy League–caliber counsel at fees that are genuinely competitive.
In transactions and litigation, volume is often the enemy of thoroughness. Our AI-augmented workflow means we can review hundreds of documents with the same care and precision we'd give to ten — catching what others miss.
Our attorneys have counseled clients through complex, high-stakes matters across industries. Results speak — a sample of our work is below.
Successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in a landmark Medicare Secondary Payer Act case, establishing that downstream Medicare Advantage entities have standing to bring private claims — and to assign those claims — against primary payers for double damages. The decision reversed district court dismissals and set binding precedent across the circuit.
Counsel for individual board members in a multi-party securities and shareholder class action in the Delaware Court of Chancery, arising following a Section 220 books and records demand. Work has included complex motion practice, extensive discovery coordination, and working with national co-counsel.
Plaintiff-side representation in a personal injury action against a major Florida theme park operator arising from serious injuries sustained at a water park attraction.
Counsel in complex healthcare subrogation litigation against multiple major insurance carriers in federal court, involving coordination of multi-jurisdictional discovery, class certification issues, and high-volume motion practice.
Representation of an energy exploration company in fraud claims and regulatory liability disputes involving well plugging obligations, expert analysis of environmental exposure, and preparation for mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Ongoing legal counsel to a marine construction contractor across a range of matters — including defense of homeowner construction claims, government contract closeout disputes, procurement protests before public agencies, and review and negotiation of major construction contracts.
Representation of an individual plaintiff in a real estate investment dispute against an investment holding company in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, involving a lis pendens, contested motion practice, and ongoing settlement negotiations.
Represented a national construction firm in a multimillion-dollar dispute with a South Florida county arising from a public infrastructure project. Navigated the contract's mandatory dispute resolution procedures while engaging directly with the county attorney's office to protect the client's rights to full payment under the agreement.
Defended a global vehicle rental corporation in multiple related proceedings, including a JAMS arbitration brought by a vendor and parallel state-court litigation. Secured procedural advantages through aggressive motion practice, ultimately positioning the client for favorable resolution of all claims.
Defended several individual respondents in a complex investment dispute involving claims against more than half a dozen parties. Coordinated defense strategy with co-counsel from a national law firm, filed dispositive motions on the pleadings, and managed extensive written discovery across all defendants to ensure a unified and efficient defense.

Before law school, he worked in the healthcare industry — an experience that informs his practical, client-first approach to complex matters. He attended the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where he served on Law Review and interned at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, developing the appellate instincts that have defined his practice.
Eduardo has represented clients in courts across the country — from Florida circuit courts and federal district courts to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit — across a broad range of matters including personal injury, complex commercial disputes, class actions, Medicare Secondary Payer litigation, and corporate counseling. He brings the same rigor and dedication to every client, regardless of the size of the matter.
Francesco grew up in Rhode Island and came to Florida for law school — and never left. He attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he served on Law Review, interned for a federal judge in the Middle District of Florida, and served as a law clerk at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida — experience that gave him an inside view of federal prosecution and government litigation that few litigators can match.
A seasoned appellate advocate, Francesco has successfully argued appeals in multiple federal circuit courts across the country — a rare distinction that reflects the depth and breadth of his litigation experience. He represents both local and national companies in high-stakes matters, with particular strength in construction law, complex commercial disputes, and trial and appellate work. Clients trust him to handle their most difficult cases with precision, strategic clarity, and a competitive drive to win.
